Concerning of Geisha

Geisha have their roots base in girl entertainers  of the 7th century, who emerged around the early 13th century. They would perform for the nobility and the emperor.

Geisha are skilled women who entertain customers with many performing arts. Geisha went through comprehensive training and keep improving skills by taking many lessons. Geisha also are trained in a various of skills like singing,traditional Japanese dance,  playing shamisen (Japanese stringed instrument), and more.

Types of Geisha, Tachikata who mainly do Mai(traditional Japanese dance) and Jikata who mainly play instruments and sing.


Geisha and also Misconceptions

The another story that have been created by peoples about the lifestyle-the environment of the Geisha  grow unchecked make misconceptions over what a geisha.

The people may be misinformed about Geisha. Geisha not offering sex to customers. "True Geisha" were able to work, sing, play instrumens and others but the counterfeit usurped Geisha the indicating of the word 'Geisha' in the many the persons as courtesan.


Geisha Makeup

Hair
Geisha can just put their hair up in a bun. The Geisha brushing hair back off face and also tie hair to form a bun. Geisha also use a foam under the bun, foam use to lift hair up a bit higher. Geisha also hire a Geisha wig, If have short hair . 

Makeup
For the makeup of Geisha, use a white zinc foundation, mix cold cream together with cornstarch. It's to make the white foundation and add water for the perfect. 

Eyes
They Use a black liquid or eyeliner for their eye. Geishas usually don't wear mascara. 

Eyebrows
Drawing a brow over own brow, the Geisha extend their brow a little further. The Geisha also use eyebrow pencil.

Lips
Cover lips with red lipstick or with concealer and also the white cornstarch mixture.

Okiya, The House of Geisha

The proprietress of the okiya is called O-kaasan(the Japanese word for "mother"). Okiya is the lodgings house in which a geisha and maiko lives, with contract and career as a Maiko or Geisha in Okiya. This house plays a large part in environment and the life of a Geisha.
