About of Fujisan
Fujisan
is Japanese
highest mountain(3776 meters). Fuji Mount is a one of dormant volcano and
Fujisan most recently erupted in 1708. Fujisan stands on the border between
Shizuoka Prefectures and Yamanashi. Fujisan can easily be seen from Yokohama
and also Tokyo.
The great view Fujisan is from the
train Tokaido Line between Osaka and Tokyo, it's easiest. If with Shinkansen
from Tokyo in route of Nagoya.Kyoto.Osaka.
The view of Fujisan can be looked and enjoyed from around Shin-Fuji or Shizuoka
Station(35 to 40 minutes after leaving Tokyo).
But remember! that clouds often block the Fujisan,
and you must lucky. >.<
Fujisan>>When to climb ?
July&August are the climbing season.
July&August the Mount Fuji is free of snow, the Fuji weather is
comparatively mild plus access transportation is easy. Everybody is advised to
climb the mount Fuji during the climbing season.
October to around June, climbing to Mount Fuji is
highly perilous because extreme wind, weather conditions, ice, snow and
avalanches.

Clothes
Bring proper protection against strong winds
and low temperatures . Proper clothes,
rain gear can help you and Gloves are also recommended.
Shoes
Bring proper shoes which protect your ankles.
Flashlight
If you
climbing at night, a flasHlight is highly recommended.
Food and Water
Food is important to bring enough food and water .
The Trails of Fujisan
Kawaguchiko(5th Station)
Trail Name Yoshida Trail with Altitude about 2300
meters, and Ascent 5-7 hours. Kawaguchiko in the Yamanashi Prefecture, the
popular trail and also the very easy accessible for the Mount Fuji .
Subashiri (5th Station)
Trail Name Subashiri Trail, with Altitude about 2000
meters and Ascent 5-8 hours.
Gotemba(5th Station)
Trail Name Gotemba Trail, with Altitude about 1400
meters and Ascent: 7-10 hours.
Fujinomiya (5th Station)
Trail Name Fujinomiya Trail with Altitude about
2400m and Ascent 4-7 hours.
And you can climbing the mount Fuji around 10pm and then hike in the night to sunrise.
